Grape and Wine Festival of Donnici

Glasses ready to taste an excellence of Calabrian oenology! The ‘’Wine Festival of Donnici‘’, a hamlet of the city of Cosenza, is an opportunity to try the excellent "Terre di Cosenza DOC" wine in the local variant.

Now in its 43rd edition, the ‘Grape and Wine Festival of Donnici’ is an immersive experience in all senses, which over the weekend of 10 to 12 October 2025 gives wine enthusiasts the opportunity to taste a local pride.

Established in 2011 to enhance the development of Cosenza wine production, the "Terre di Cosenza DOC" appellation is now a guarantee of quality for a prized and nationally and internationally awarded sector.

Extended to the entire province of Cosenza, the DOC encompasses no less than 7 grape varieties that correspond to as many territories: Condoleo, Donnici, Esaro, Pollino, San Vito di Luzzi, Colline del Crati and Verbicaro.

In addition to making the prized local wine known and tasted, the 43rd ‘Donnici Wine Festival’ is also a street party: a three-day event in the historic centre of Donnici that combines the flavours of local street food with the festive atmosphere of traditional bands.
