From 11 to 15 December 2024, the picturesque Riviera dei Gelsomini becomes the beating heart of great cinema with the third edition of the Gelsomini Film Festival. Promoted by the Scuola Cinematografica della Calabria and directed by Lele Nucera, the kermesse offers an exciting programme: screenings, masterclasses, theatrical performances, talks, special guests and a special tribute to Gian Maria Volonté, 30 years after his death.
The Festival will pass through some of the Riviera's most fascinating locations:
- 11 December - Locri
- 12 December - Siderno
- 13-15 December - Roccella Jonica, with the Carafa Castle providing the setting for the final evenings.
‘’Profumo di Cinema‘’ is the theme of the 2024 edition. The title of the festival celebrates the magic of stories told on the big screen, evoking deep emotions that remain in the heart, just like the scent of jasmine on summer evenings. This flower, symbol of endurance, beauty and delicacy, reflects the essence of the Festival, which combines tradition and innovation.
