On 2 August 2025, off the crystal clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea in Cosenza, the first edition of the Fuscaldo's Cup, the “Bruno Giordano” sailing regatta, will set sail, a special event that enriches the programme of “Fuscaldo Anchovy Festival”.
Organised in collaboration with the Lampetia Sailing Centre in Cetraro, the Italian Sailing Federation and the “Bruno Giordano” Clean Sea Association, the event combines sport with remembrance, a passion for the sea with environmental protection.
Starting at 3 p.m., the boats will set sail in a symbolic embrace between the coast and the horizon, celebrating the sea as a resource, a culture and a heritage to be protected. The regatta is dedicated to Bruno Giordano, an emblematic figure in the commitment to a cleaner, fairer and more conscious Mediterranean.
