The charm of Santa Caterina dello Ionio takes centre stage in the "Form and Memory" Photography Competition, an event that combines passion, creativity and promotion of the local area. The event will be held in Torre Sant'Antonio on two special occasions:
19 August, 7.30 p.m. – Presentation of the contest and photography masterclass with director Eugenio Lijoi
22 August, 9 p.m. – Screening and award ceremony for the works in competition
The chosen theme, "Form and Memory", invites professionals and amateurs (minimum age 16) to capture the essence of the village and its landscapes through images. Each participant may submit up to 3 photographs, all taken in the Santa Caterina dello Ionio area, by 2:00 pm on 22 August.
A jury of experts, chaired by Eugenio Lijoi, will select the finalist photos, which will be screened during the final evening, together with the public vote to decide the winner.
