In Taverna di Montalto Uffugo, December begins with an event dedicated to the authentic flavours of tradition. On 13 and 14 December 2025, Piazza Nicola Canonaco becomes the centre of a festival that combines local products, folk music and activities for the whole family.
"Flavours and Knowledge – A journey through traditions" is an opportunity to discover the excellence of the territory through a food and wine tour that enlivens the square, where scents, sounds and colours recount the richness of Calabrian culture.
It starts on Saturday 13 December at 4.30 pm with the opening of the markets and stands, accompanied by musical entertainment and tastings showcasing the area's iconic products. On Sunday 14 December, the festivities continue from the morning: from 10:00 am, there will be creative workshops for children, followed by a community lunch and an afternoon of folk music that brings the convivial spirit of tradition back to the square. The day ends with the classic Sunday tombola, a simple, shared moment that brings different generations together.
