On 11 and 12 August 2025, Melito di Porto Salvo will once again host the Fish Festival, a historic summer event that has been enlivening the charming fishing village, a symbol of the town's maritime identity, for over twenty years.
On Monday 11 August, starting at 8 pm, the food stands will offer a rich selection of dishes based on fresh local fish free of charge: anchovies, sardines, squid, cuttlefish, prawns and king prawns, not to mention the famous frittura di paranza (mixed fried fish), prepared according to the village's historic recipes.
On Tuesday 12 August, it's time for music with the show “I Want to Go Back to the 90s”, a thrilling show that will bring the most beloved hits of the decade to the stage, with themed sets, choreography and an atmosphere capable of reviving emotions and memories.
