Festival of Proximity Agriculture

On 19 and 20 October 2024, the first edition of "Calabria a Km Zero", a festival dedicated to proximity agriculture, will take place on the main street of Camigliatello Silano. The event will offer the public the chance to taste and buy ‘km0’ products from local excellence. There will be stands of typical products, show cooking, meetings and shows, as well as concerts by regional and national artists.

The festival is organised by the GAL Sila in collaboration with the municipality of Spezzano Sila and the Pro Loco of Camigliatello Silano, and is included in the programme of events for ‘’Autumn in Sila‘’. The initiative is part of the ‘’Short Supply Chains and Local Markets‘’ project, which aims to enhance the local agrifood system, strengthening the promotion and marketing of short supply chain products and supporting small local producers.

*Due to adverse weather conditions, the event scheduled for the weekend of 19 and 20 October has been postponed to the weekend of 26 and 27 October.
