Festival of Peoples in Catanzaro

On Friday 10 and Saturday 11 October 2025, Catanzaro will host the Festival of Peoples, an event dedicated to integration, culture and conviviality among communities around the world. The event will take place in Piazza Luigi Rossi and will feature a rich programme of meetings, shows and moments of reflection.
On 10 October, the event will begin at 4 pm at the De Nobili Library with working groups on integration in schools, housing and the workplace, together with institutions, trade unions and the third sector, concluding with the drafting of a document to be delivered to the Prefect. From 8.30 pm in Piazza Luigi Rossi, the Village of Peoples will open, with the presentation of communities in traditional dress, messages of peace, artistic performances by the Cuban and Dominican communities, oriental dances, live music and food stands.
On 11 October at 6 p.m., the summary document will be delivered to the Prefect. The evening will continue from 8.30 p.m. with the award ceremony for the winning team of the Championship of Peoples, performances by the Nigerian, Brazilian and Filipino communities, a final concert with Gioman and Killacat accompanied by LS Badstone, and a journey through the flavours, colours and traditions of the world.
