On 26 and 27 July 2025, San Lorenzo Bellizzi, in the heart of the Pollino National Park, will host for the first time a stage of the IT.A.CÀ Festival – Migrants and Travellers, the first and most important Italian festival on responsible tourism.
Two days to discover a resilient territory, inhabited by a community that chooses every day to stay and preserve its roots, transforming them into energy for the future.
With scenic excursions, experiential workshops, tastings of local products and moments of cultural sharing, the San Lorenzo Bellizzi stage offers an authentic immersion in the most unspoilt nature of Calabria. Walk through wild gorges, centuries-old woods and paths that tell stories of resistance and love for the land.
The first day begins with a walk through the streets of the village and is enriched with visits to small local producers, who open their doors to visitors to knead crepes, shape taralli, learn about wild herbs, taste oil, honey and cheese, and listen to stories of real life. The second day takes you to the village of Sant'Anna, a symbolic place that combines faith, landscape and tradition. Here, the excursion through the mountains ends with the celebration of the village's patron saint, in a festival that intertwines spirituality and folklore, where residents and travellers meet.
