An emotional musical experience awaits the audience at EXIT – Diversions in Art and Music, the festival created by Piano B, which will be held on Thursday 3 July 2025, at 9:30 p.m. in Bagnara Calabra, in Piazza Monte Carmelo, with an event that combines art, cinema and collective memory.
The star of the evening will be Nello Salza, the extraordinary Italian trumpeter known as “The Trumpet of Cinema”, who will present the tribute concert “Tribute to Ennio Morricone”. A musical journey through the unforgettable atmospheres of masterpieces such as Once Upon a Time in America, The Mission, The Legend of 1900 and The Hateful Eight.
With over 400 soundtracks to his credit – 250 of which were composed by Morricone himself – Nello Salza has brought his sound to the world, becoming one of the symbols of Italian film music. The evening will be enriched by anecdotes, stories from the set and personal accounts, allowing us to enter into the heart of the magic that only great film music can create.
