Feast of Saint Francis of Paola in Amato

On August 10, 2025, the village of Amato will celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Paola with a special event that combines devotion, socializing, and entertainment. Starting at 10:00 p.m., in the town center, there will be a concert by Equipe 84 – La Storia, a group that performs some of the most representative songs from the Italian beat repertoire, offering the public an opportunity for entertainment designed for all generations.

The event is part of the program of cultural initiatives promoted with the support of the Calabria Region through the resources of the 2014/2020 Action and Cohesion Plan – Action 6.8.3, and is organized by the Municipality of Amato as an integral part of the celebrations dedicated to the patron saint. The evening is part of a festive atmosphere that enhances local identity and strengthens the link between religious tradition and collective participation.
