Carnival Regatta 2026 in the ‘’City of Sailing"

Like every year, the Crotone Sailing Club organises the Crotone International Carnival Race & Italy Optimist Trophy: the "Carnival Regatta" 2026, one of the most eagerly awaited sailing competitions in southern Italy.
This year, the "Carnival Regatta" will be held from 14 to 17 February in Crotone, not surprisingly crowned “City of Sailing” in Calabria, in collaboration with BPER.
Hundreds of athletes are involved, coming from clubs around the world for the customary Crotone challenge dedicated to junior and cadet sailors from different nations (over the years Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Sweden, Ukraine, and the USA have been involved). Young sailors in the Optimist class compete in the waters of the spectacular Stadio del Mare, in front of the Capo Colonna Promontory. There are also many events within the event on land, including concerts, theatrical performances, cultural events, and fairs.
In Calabria, the joy of Carnival is colored blue by the sea with the "Carnival Regatta" in Crotone, where a front-row seat awaits you!
