Corpus Domini Flower Festival in Campora San Giovanni
Over 2,000 square metres of floral carpets for the solemn religious celebration

In 2025, Campora San Giovanni, a hamlet of Amantea (CS), is preparing to host the traditional Corpus Domini Flower Festival, an event that for 14 years has transformed the town's large square into a unique artistic and spiritual journey.
The initiative, organised by the Catholic Action of the Parish of St. Peter the Apostle, involves around 250 volunteers, who work day and night from Saturday 21 June until Sunday morning to create over 2,000 square metres of votive carpets made from flowers and natural materials. The compositions, ephemeral and visually striking, represent liturgical symbols, religious motifs and sacred images.
The highlight will be on Sunday 22 June at 7 p.m., with the celebration of Holy Mass followed by the Corpus Domini procession: the Blessed Sacrament will pass over the floral carpets in a ritual full of spirituality and participation.
An event that combines art, faith and community, which over the years has become a point of reference for the entire area.
