Concert for the New Year and for Peace

On Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the evocative setting of the Stella Maris Sanctuary in Vibo Marina, located in Piazza Mons. Domenico Costa, the traditional Concert for the New Year and for Peace will be held once again. The initiative, promoted by the Pro Loco Vibo Marina APS Association in collaboration with the Parish of Maria SS. del Rosario di Pompei and the Vespucci-Murmura Institute, is a cultural and musical event that is part of the “Comunità in cammino” program. 

The event, which begins at 6.30 pm, entrusts music with the role of accompanying the start of the new year and encouraging shared reflection on the theme of peace. The program includes a performance by the String Ensemble of the “Vito Capialbi” High School in Vibo Valentia, with the participation of soprano Antonietta Pisano, flutist Alessandro Carere, and organist and director Diego Ventura.

The concert takes place in a location of particular symbolic and identity value for Vibo Marina, offering an opportunity for cultural enjoyment in an intimate and meaningful setting. Admission is free, and the initiative is open to anyone who wishes to share a moment of listening and participation.
