From 18 September to 18 October 2025, the Museo del Presente in Rende will host the twelfth edition of Common Geniuses, the national event dedicated to contemporary art. Over 50 artists from all over Italy will present paintings and sculptures, while this year's special section pays tribute to Luigi Comencini's historic film "The Adventures of Pinocchio", produced in 1972 by San Paolo Film in collaboration with Rai.
The opening night will be enriched by the presence of Andrea Balestri, the child actor who played Pinocchio, who will present the book "Pinocchio tells Pinocchio – 50 years later", offering the public a unique glimpse behind the scenes of the famous TV series.
A special exhibition will celebrate the village of Farnese, chosen as the filming location, and will feature original stills, historical memorabilia and works by artist Giovanni Leonetti, with a moving tribute to the world's most famous puppet.
Admission is free. Visiting hours: Tuesday-Saturday 9:00-13:00 and 16:00-20:00, Sunday 16:00-20:00.
