From 7 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, Castrovillari will be transformed into a veritable open-air stage with the Castrovillari Città Festival – Christmas 2025 calendar. A month of events will enliven the historic centre with activities dedicated to families, children, and lovers of music, theatre, and traditions.
The streets and squares of the city will be filled with guided tours, creative workshops, cultural events and live shows, while children will find a programme designed to help them fully experience the festive atmosphere. This year's edition will also be enriched by the arrival of Civita Nova – Winter Edition, a new addition that expands the city's cultural offerings.
Among the most eagerly awaited events are the free concert by Tiromancino, scheduled for 28 December, and New Year's Eve in the square on 31 December with Luigi Di Dieco & Little Italy Band, followed by a great DJ set by Franco Siciliano live on Jonica Radio. Two events that will accompany residents and visitors towards the brightest week of the festive season.
