On Friday 17 and Saturday 18 October 2025, Carpanzano celebrates autumn with the Chestnut Festival, an event that combines taste, culture and conviviality in the heart of the village of Savuto.
The ancient chestnut groves of the area, renowned for the quality and flavour of their chestnuts, take centre stage at the event, featuring in traditional dishes prepared according to ancient recipes handed down through generations. Food stalls will offer steaming roasted chestnuts and typical specialities, surrounded by the scents and colours of autumn.
The days will be enlivened by music and live shows: on Friday, Garage 21 will take to the stage with hits from the 1990s, while on Saturday it will be the turn of Calabrian folk music with Stefano Priolo & Nino De Francesco. There will also be activities and entertainment designed for children, making the festival an experience suitable for the whole family.
