Castaniculture Festival

The Chestnut Festival returns to Fagnano Castello, from 25 to 27 October 2024, to celebrate its 39th edition. An event of great regional and national appeal, offering a combination of tradition, gastronomy and local culture. On 19 October, the pre-festival will be held in the hamlet of San Lauro.

During the festival, it will be possible to take part in a rich handicrafts fair and taste the flavours of the territory through the gastronomic stands, where the chestnut will be the protagonist in all its forms. The event offers fun for all ages, with children's games, live music and travelling shows.

Throughout the festival, it will be possible to visit the Museum of Rural Civilisation and the Chestnut Museum, enriching the experience with the history and culture of the region.

*Due to possible adverse weather conditions, the ‘Pre-Festival’ event planned for 19 October in San Lauro has been postponed to Thursday 24 October.
