Carnival of Santa Caterina Albanese

Santa Caterina Albanese is preparing for the second edition of its Carnival, organized by the municipality in collaboration with ASD Valle dell'Esaro. On Sunday, February 22, 2026, the town will come alive with colors, music, and fun during a day dedicated to Carnival traditions.

The program begins at 2:00 p.m. with a gathering at the Ioggi crossroads. From there, the parade will proceed along the provincial road to the historic center. At 5:00 p.m., the parade of allegorical floats will head towards Località Pianette, promising to entertain and thrill people of all ages. An awards ceremony for the best floats will take place at the end of the evening. All participating floats will receive reimbursement.

The evening will conclude with a dance party at the Cupola in Località Pianette where everyone can celebrate together until late into the night.
