Carnival in Vibo Valentia

From 1 to 4 March 2025, Vibo Valentia will come alive with its traditional Carnival, offering four days of fun and merriment for young and old. Each day will be dedicated to different locations in the city, with a programme full of parades of masks, floats, shows and activities for all tastes.

On Saturday 1 March, celebrations will begin in Bivona and Porto Salvo with Carnival parties and masquerade parades. On Sunday 2 March, Triparni and Vibo Marina will be the centre of celebrations, with parades of floats, dance groups, bubble and circus shows, and the fun Carnival Party Taranta dance. On Monday 3 March, Vibo Marina will host the parade of masks and the final award ceremony, accompanied by the floats. On Tuesday 4 March, the grand finale will be held in Vibo Valentia with the provincial ‘’Masks on the Catwalk‘’ competition, shows with mascots and floats, Brazilian music and dancing in the square with a DJ set.
