Carnival in Rocca Imperiale

On 22 and 23 February 2025, Rocca Imperiale will be filled with colour, music and merriment with the Magical Carnival, an unmissable event that unites young and old in an atmosphere of pure fun.

It starts on 22 February at 3 p.m. with the spectacular parade of allegorical floats through the streets of the village, starting from via Cantinella. The energy of the party will continue in Piazza Monumento, where there will be live music with Pippo's band. Making the day even more special will be the XXXVI Edition of the Maiatiche, organised by the Assunzione BVM Parish, and the awarding of the most beautiful Carnival costume, in collaboration with the I.C. Federico II, which will see the voting and proclamation of the most original mask.

On 23 February, the party continues with another parade of floats in Rocca Imperiale Marina from 10 am, accompanied by animation and entertainment for all. In the afternoon, at 18:00, the masked children will participate in the Holy Mass in the Church of the Visitation B.V. Maria, and then conclude in style with the Carnival Vigil, organised by the Catechism children.
