On Thursday 28 August 2025, the eagerly awaited Candle Festival returns for its eighth edition, offering the public an evocative experience that combines art, music and entertainment in an atmosphere illuminated by thousands of lights.
The event will kick off at 9:30 p.m. with a live DJ set by Luigi D'Alife, paving the way for an evening full of excitement: fire juggling by the Compagnia Fuoco&Clownerie and a sand art performance by Greta Belometti with the Compagnia Teatrop, who will transform sand into spectacular images in real time.
The artistic itinerary will include unmissable installations and exhibitions, such as Federico Pugliese's backlit work created for Cosenza Comics and Games, Mario Vetere's interactive exhibition 'Light Up', the spectacular hot air balloon installation 'Fumetti fra le Nuvole' (Comics in the Clouds) with drawings by Fabio Franchi, and the immersive experience 'Magia al Castello' (Magic at the Castle) dedicated to the world of Harry Potter.
The exceptional partner for this edition is the Carlo Rambaldi Foundation, which is celebrating the centenary of the master of special effects with the exhibition of a 1:1 scale copy of the famous alien E.T., an absolute icon in the history of cinema.
The evening will be enriched by original and interactive performances: caricatures by Conce_Art, the living statue by Tekla De Marco and tarot readings by Antonino Geloso, for a journey through creativity and magic under a sky lit by candles.
