Brutia Symphony Orchestra - Transversal Harmonies

Transversal Harmonies – The Great Concerts of Rendano, the 2025 autumn season of the Brutia Symphony Orchestra, transforms the Alfonso Rendano Theatre in Cosenza into a stage without boundaries from October to December 2025.

The concert season brings together anniversaries, leading figures from the music scene and stylistic influences, with six events designed to engage different audiences and enhance the role of the Rendano as a regional cultural hub. The programme pays tribute to the 150th anniversary of Georges Bizet and Maurice Ravel, opens up to the great symphonic tradition, embraces the world of Hollywood soundtracks and extends to jazz and contemporary creativity. ​

• 17 October: opening in the spirit of great anniversaries with pianist Maria Perrotta and conductor Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli.​
• 25 October: Giuliano Carmignola's violin illuminates a programme dedicated to Mendelssohn, in collaboration with the “M. Quintieri” association.​
• 21 November: a journey through cinema with heroes, dreams and legends from the most beloved soundtracks.
• 30 November: symphonic jazz with Enrico Pieranunzi Trio & Orchestra.
• 4 December: Giovanni Sollima's flair and energy between classical music and improvisation.
• 12 December: closing with the young Calabrian pianist Giancarlo Grande, winner of the National Arts Award.
