From 14 to 16 November 2025, Altomonte will be transformed into a large open-air oven for the 19th edition of the Great Bread Festival – Autumn Bread, an event that celebrates one of the most authentic symbols of Mediterranean culture.
In the charming medieval village, among the ancient streets and squares rich in history, a journey through tradition, taste and conviviality will come to life. Tastings, workshops, show cooking, folk music and themed meetings will accompany visitors on a sensory journey to discover over 90 varieties of Calabrian bread, an expression of a land that knows how to preserve and pass on its knowledge.
The event will also be an opportunity to discuss the future of bread making, with round tables dedicated to sustainability, innovation and the promotion of craftsmanship. A festival that renews the deep bond between Altomonte and its traditions, confirming the village as the Calabrian capital of hospitality and good living.
