Bread Festival

The 18th edition of the Bread Festival returns to Altomonte, in the province of Cosenza, from 18 to 20 October 2024 with the theme ‘Bread and Work’. This annual event celebrates bread as a symbol of Mediterranean tradition and culture, transforming the charming village of Altomonte into a centre of flavours and traditions.

The programme includes tastings, exhibitions, thematic meetings and moments of reflection on the preservation of traditions and the importance of sustainable and genuine food. There will be lit ovens, show cooking, itinerant music and the opportunity to discover the secrets of handmade bread, a symbol of sharing and history.
