Bergarè

From 3 to 6 October 2024, the Aragonese Castle in Reggio Calabria will host Bergarè, an event dedicated to the promotion and valorisation of bergamot, a product with a thousand virtues that represents true Calabrian excellence.

The event will focus on the many applications of bergamot, ranging from health to wellness, via starred gastronomy, confectionery, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. This precious citrus fruit, symbol of the Mediterranean diet, is also gaining increasing relevance in modern eating habits thanks to its unique properties.

During the event, visitors will be able to discover how bergamot juice is used in the confectionery industry for the preparation of sweets, candies, ice cream, sorbets and drinks such as drinks, teas and liqueurs. Bergarè will offer a unique opportunity to learn more about this extraordinary product and its applications in various sectors.
