Autumn tastes and flavours

Autumn in Aiello Calabro is celebrated with a unique event dedicated to the flavours and traditions of the area. On 8 and 9 November 2024, the 4th edition of ‘Autumn Tastes and Flavours’ will be held, an opportunity to immerse oneself in the natural and cultural beauties of this evocative Calabrian locality.

On Friday 8 November, the event will begin with a nature excursion at the Vivaio Tardo di Aiello Calabro nursery, involving pupils from local schools.

On Saturday 9 November, in Piazza Plebiscito, starting at 7.30 p.m., the autumn celebrations will officially open with the Giants of Mesiano, enlivening the evening with freshly prepared roasted chestnuts, food and wine stands, handicrafts, and new wine tastings with Cantina Spadafora and Agriturismo La Pineta.

During the evening, delicious tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and many other local specialities will be served, along with an exhibition of works created by pupils from local schools, inspired by autumn themes. The atmosphere will be enriched by the itinerant group ‘Le Calabriselle’, with sounds and popular dances that will involve everyone present.
