With his quartet, Francesco Salime presents a selection of pieces that includes the most interesting composers of the 19th and 20th centuries, such as Scott Joplin - the king of ragtime -, George Gershwin, Nino Rota. The journey continues through the notes of Astor Piazzolla, Renato Carosone, ending with the more contemporary Ennio Morricone, Franco Battiato, Pino Daniele and Philippe Geiss. A refined and engaging concert.

A saxophone teacher at the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Naples, Francesco Salime completed his studies in France where he studied extensively. He was a pupil of Daniel Deffayet, Jacques Desloges, Roland Audefroy, Chantale De Bouchy and Daniel Kientzy in Paris. He has taken part in and won numerous national and international competitions, and has always been committed to an intense concert activity, performing all over the world with various ensembles - in fact, he has collaborated and continues to collaborate with great orchestras such as the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, and the Roma Sinfonietta -, with concerts in France, Spain, Austria, Japan, Chile, Brazil, Romania, Germany, Israel, Canada, England, and the United States, with programmes ranging from classical to contemporary music.
