Autumn Festival | Maurizio Battista - In my day it wasn't like this

For its twentieth year, the Autumn Festival has also decided to focus on a moment of lightness with Maurizio Battista, one of the best-loved comedians of the moment, for the first time in Catanzaro, fresh from a sold-out tour in the main Italian theatres with his show "Ai miei tempi non era così".

The Roman comedian will ask whether we are really sure that the past coincides with the idea of the old and the present with the idea of the new, which forces us to trudge along, until we grow old before our time. Who said that happiness consists in an accumulation of special effects and not instead, as it once was, from knowing how to have fun with so little that we felt special?

Maurizio Battista will move between these and other questions, in a very precise slalom to avoid hitting the stakes of hypocrisy and ignorance, in the theatre hall that will reproduce a cinema hall of many years ago, complete with a projection of old films, accompanied by the music of Los Locos, the songs of Renato Zero interpreted by his natural heir Daniele si Nasce, and the irreverence of the comedian Dado, always ready to unmask the deceptions and subterfuges of contemporaneity.
