Autumn Festival | Emotions - Homage to the songs of Mogol and Battisti

Fresh from the success on prime time television on Rai1 of the successful programme "I migliori anni" hosted by Carlo Conti, Gianmarco Carroccia is to be considered a great friend of the Autumn Festival. In fact, the singer-songwriter returns to Catanzaro, on the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of Lucio Battisti's birth, to revive the work of two of the greatest artists of Italian music, who have marked its history, Lucio Battisti and Mogol.

"Emozioni" is in fact a show created precisely to enhance every single song, highlighting even its hidden nuances, while remaining adherent to the original. Boasting both a physical and vocal resemblance to Lucio Battisti, Gianmarco Carroccia, who grew up on Battisti, Celentano and Cocciante bread, will offer his audience moments of rare intensity, through songs that have accompanied the lives of several generations and that bring back unforgettable moments and memories.

There will be no lack of big hits in the repertoire such as "Dieci ragazze", "Fiori rosa, fiori di pesco", "Mi ritorni in mente", "Il tempo di morire", "Acqua azzurra", "La canzone del sole", "I giardini di marzo", accompanied by the five musicians of the "Emozioni" project. An opportunity to retrace a musical itinerary that has characterised the lives of so many people and the birth of so many new loves.

The homage to the songs of Mogol and Battisti will take place at Soverato's Teatro Comunale on 20 August 2023.
