Autumn Festival - Chestnut Festival

From 7 to 9 November 2025, San Donato di Ninea is preparing to host the 34th Chestnut Festival, one of the longest-running and most heartfelt events of the Calabrian autumn. For over thirty years, this event has celebrated the chestnut, the symbolic fruit of the mountains, and with it the history, culture and vitality of an entire community.

In the heart of the village, among alleys and squares that smell of autumn, the Autumn Festival will offer three days full of music, art, tastings and conviviality. Visitors will be able to taste typical products, authentic preparations that tell the story of rural tradition and the deep bond between the people and their land.
