The heart of Aspromonte is transformed into a treasure trove of authentic experiences thanks to Aspromonte Magicland, three days dedicated to food and wine, nature and wellness in Ciminà. From 27 to 29 September 2025, excursions, horse trekking and jeep safaris will take participants on an unforgettable journey through spectacular landscapes, rural traditions and authentic flavours.
The programme begins on Saturday 27 September with the Excursion along the Shepherds' Paths, a circular route through grassy ridges, ancient sheepfolds and stone terraces, accompanied by a packed lunch featuring traditional recipes and a seminar on slow tourism in villages. The day will end with a tasting of dishes symbolic of the local cuisine.
On Sunday 28 September, it will be time for Horse Trekking among chestnut groves and dry stone walls that tell the story of centuries of tradition. The experience will be enriched by an authentic lunch at the Magia dell'Aspromonte Farmhouse and the participation of digital storyteller Nina Dubozva.
The weekend ends on Monday 29 September with an exciting Jeep Safari on Monte Tre Pizzi. Aboard historic Fiat Campagnola vehicles, participants will explore dirt tracks and breathtaking views, with stops for nature observation, stories about sheep farming and traditional food tasting.
