Armonie della Magna Graecia | The Romantic Piano

On the night of the shooting stars, 10 August, the village of Tropea will be lit up by 'Il Pianoforte Romantico', an evocative candlelight concert in the ancient Palazzo Santa Chiara, which hosts the XXVII edition of the Festival Armonie della Magna Graecia.

It will be Maestro Aversano, a 'piano marathon runner', with his vast repertoire, who will perform the most famous works by Chopin, Schubert and Mendelssohn in an intimate atmosphere, starting at 10 pm. The purity of sound will be the sole protagonist of the evening, a tribute to the greatest composers of all times for an immersive, exciting and multi-sensory experience that aims to rediscover the beauty of live concerts.

In a fascinating historical location, notes played amidst the glow of natural candlelight will recreate a magical setting that will invite the audience to enjoy the music without distraction. The Romantic Piano, a performance that turns Tropea into an open-air theatre, is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the entire musical kermesse.
