The Arbëreshe Song Festival of San Demetrio Corone (CS) is one of the best-loved and most representative musical events of the Italo-Albanian communities in Calabria.
The Arbëreshe Song Festival protects and promotes their rich Arbëreshe cultural heritage, involving all social components and stimulating linguistic-musical research.
The idea of the Arbëreshe Song Festival was born in 1980 and, over the years, it has produced hundreds of new songs compared to the old traditional ones, renewing folk songs and launching many new authors and young performers.
Symbol and flag of Skanderbeg's descendants, the Arbëreshe Song Festival is an unmissable event, to which the Italo-Albanian community of San Demetrio Corone invites everyone to participate and enjoy.
The 2024 edition, the 42nd, will take place from 8 to 10 August.
