Antonio Vivaldi Festival

From 20 September to 15 November 2025, Calabria will become a stage for great music with the eighth edition of the Antonio Vivaldi Festival, scheduled to take place in Castrovillari, Morano Calabro, Rossano, Cosenza and San Giovanni in Fiore.

Under the artistic direction of Maestros Alessandro Marano and Margherita Capalbo, the festival brings together internationally renowned pianists and violinists, symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles and young talents capable of intertwining tradition with new visions.

The musical journey winds its way through symbolic locations in the area – from the Aragonese Castle in Castrovillari to the medieval cloisters of Morano, from the noble halls of the Province of Cosenza to the Demological Museum of San Giovanni in Fiore – transformed into stages that welcome Baroque masterpieces, romantic lyricism and contemporary influences.

Each stage is a story: from Baroque Masterpieces to Twentieth-Century Connections, from the intensity of Canto d'anime to the visionary lightness of Ghost International Tour, in a continuous dialogue between masters and young performers.

An event that celebrates Vivaldi's legacy and makes music a bridge between Calabria and the international scene, transforming sounds and places into unforgettable experiences.
