On Sunday 25 January 2026 at 6.30 pm, the Auditorium Palazzo della Cultura in Locri will host A.M.O.R.E. & A.M.O.R.I., as part of the XXXI Locride Theatre Season 2025–26. The performance features Matilde Brandi and Francesco Branchetti alongside Isabella Giannone, and combines words, music and acting.
This comedy has a brilliant and measured tone and spans eras, languages and moods to explore love in all its forms. Through familiar situations and perceptive dialogue, the narrative oscillates between irony and introspection, offering a diverse portrayal of human relationships, including desires, vulnerabilities, and contradictions.
David Conati's text consciously plays with the codes and clichés associated with romantic love, reworking them with lightness and intelligence to offer an authentic and contemporary perspective. Pino Cangialosi's music accompanies the scenes, helping to define the rhythm and atmosphere, while Francesco Branchetti's direction enhances the performers' dialogue and their direct relationship with the audience.
