Amaroni Carnival

The Amaronese Carnival is back in Amaroni, an event full of colour, music and tradition, with parades of masks, dancing and tastings of typical sweets.

It starts on Saturday 1 March with the big parade of masks in the afternoon, followed in the evening by a masked ball with tastings of carnival specialities and awards for the most original costumes. On Sunday 2 March, the little ones will be the protagonists with the ‘’Children in the Square‘’ event, with music and typical sweets. The grand finale will be held on Tuesday 4 March with the ‘’Carnalavara‘’ funeral procession, an ironic performance that closes the festivities in keeping with local tradition.
