In the ancient heart of Aieta, Christmas takes shape in an emotional journey through timeless alleys, squares and views. The Living Nativity Scene, awarded for three consecutive years as the best Italian living nativity scene and recognised as Calabrian Excellence 2023.
Among the cobbled streets of the village, figures in historical costumes re-enact the Nativity and ancient crafts, recreating an atmosphere that speaks of memory, community and hospitality. Warm lights, handcrafted decorations and meticulously detailed scenes accompany visitors on an immersive journey, where history intertwines with the emotion of the most authentic Christmas. Aieta welcomes residents and visitors on a journey through tradition, made up of encounters, songs and moments of sharing that bring the universal values of Christmas back to the forefront. An event that transforms the village into a living scene, ready to enchant young and old alike.
The invitation is for 26 December 2025 and 6 January 2026, from 5.30 pm.
