Rose

Birthplace of Gaetano Argento, philosopher and jurist under Emperor Charles VI, the municipality of Rose is located in the Crati Valley, in the province of Cosenza. Where the ancient Castle of Rose (1199) once stood, today the Town Hall and school are located.

In addition to the monument to its illustrious citizen, the historic centre of Rose offers a visit to several artistic churches, including the 14th-century Chiesa Matrice, the Church of the SS. Annunziata and the Augustinian Convent of San Pietro Apostolo (14th century).
