Mormanno's landmark buildings include the Cathedral, the Mother Church of S. Maria del Colle, and the monumental Votive Lighthouse to the Fallen of Calabria.

The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Colle, in Piazza Umberto I, is a beautiful building in Neapolitan Baroque style, boasting a façade made entirely of tuff, designed by Pietro Scardino da Padula, with three portals surmounted by the coats of arms of the respective confraternities.

The Votive Lighthouse to the Fallen of Calabria in 1915-18 is one of the buildings listed as a ‘’Regional Monument‘’. It stands on Mount San Michele, in the locality of Torretta, on the parvis of the 17th-century Church of N. S. del Perpetuo Soccorso, and is now the undisputed symbol of Mormanno. The monument is immersed in the Remembrance Park and connected to the town centre by a path through the woods.

From a gastronomic point of view, Mormanno is known for its prized legumes: the Mormanno Lentil and the White Bean of Mormanno, two delicacies of the Calabrian autumn table, both Slow Food Presidia
